About ...
There's nothing that brings a room together like the perfect area rug - it grounds the room and makes the space feel finished. A beautiful wool rug completes the stylistic statement of the room. Though I never really thought about it, it is a fact that an area rug also makes a room warmer by insulating the floor, thereby reducing heat loss and maintaining the temperature of the space. The larger the rug, the greater the savings in heating costs.

As we all know, quality, like a wool rug, is not cheap. I just have to say I cannot believe how affordable these handmade Martha Stewart wool rugs are, and the styles appear to go on sale often, so you might want to check back. I don't want to think about how much I paid for the last wool rug I purchased. At these prices, I am thinking about changing mine out seasonally (lol!) - thanks Martha!!
Swedish Dishcloths = Game Changers for Your Kitchen & the Planet!!

About ...
I've purchased a few other brands of these washcloths and this Swedish import is the one I like most. They come in a multitude of colors and patterns, and also come in two sizes. I recommend the large, it's a good size for cleaning counters and dishes, the regular size is a bit small for how I like to clean.

These dishcloths are also a key addition to maintaining a clean and hygenic kitchen. I'm not sure what makes the difference, but some of the other brands I have tried get smelly after awhile, like a washcloth - but not these.

Why do Dishcloths get Smelly?
Regular dishcloths get smelly because proteins (found in meats & dairy products) and grease quickly embed in damp dishcloths. The damp, thick fibrous fabric creates a perfect breeding ground for bacteria and mold.
Swedish washcloths can be key to maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen. The dishcloths are much thinner and specially designed to dry quickly, preventing bacteria and mold growth, ensuring that your kitchen stays clean and germ-free.
"Thick and thirsty" dishcloths are not necessarily the best option for the kitchen. No matter what you use, be sure to get out a fresh dishcloth everyday and give it a chance to dry throughout the day - ideally launder in hot water with vinegar.
