Just For You ...
Martha's Chic Cap Sleeve Puffer Vest - How Divine!

About ... Martha! Martha! Martha! What a chic and cool addition to any fall/winter outerwear wardrobe - which is why I ordered one! So many things to love - 100% down, hidden zippered pockets, cap sleeve, 24 colors and sizes XS through 3X! I can confirm, it does run large as stated, layers comfortably over ANYTHING! Dress this versatile Cap Sleeve Down Puffer Vest up - think fancy black dress with the Black Puffer,

or a black turtleneck under the Oat Puffer ... either way - fabulous darling!!

Little Story ... While waiting patiently for my Puffer Vest to arrive, I was perusing the lululemon store at one of my favorite shopping neighborhoods. A tall, gorgeous brunette girl waltzed in elegantly, like she owned the place! She was wearing Martha's Puffer in the color Spice and ordered it in at least three sizes too big! All I can say is that as she floated around in her fluffy cloud of pale cinnamon, every head turned! She looked absolutely stunning in her black lululemons, white wedge sneakers and enormous Martha Stewart Puffer! And I know it was this exact same Puffer because of course, I asked her! I wish I would have also asked to take her photo - #REGRET!!

Birkenstock - Simplicity, Timelessness & Comfort!

About ...

Birks are kind of a no brainer, right?! Timeless style, great function, soothing comfort and lasting quality is always in style ... and that couldn't be more true for Birkenstocks which were first made in 1744!!! Unbelievably, that's 279 years of Birkenstocks!! One thing that has changed are the variety of colors, textures materials and styles that birks come in, while many of the original styles and colors, still remian top sellers. With that kind of variety, versatility, and most importantly, comfort - no wonder these sandals have been around for 279 years. Once a Birki fan, always a Birki fan - I'm just including a few new and fun styles to clebrate this iconic sandal!!

A Quick History...

1774 - Johann Adam Birkenstock (Langen - Bergheim, Germany), was the creator of the Birkenstock s andal. His focus was on comfort that followed the shape of the foot rather than the flat bed sandal of the time.

1896 - Konrad Birkenstock, (great-great grandson of Johann), created the "fussbett" or footbed insole - enhanced comfort that followed the contours of the foot.

1945 - The Birkenstock sandal was popular with American soldiers returning from Europe - the orthopedic support was unparalleled.

1964 - Karl Birkenstock developed his grandfather's insole into a complete sandal, the Madrid.

1966 - Margot Fraser, a German dressmaker, brought a pair of Birks back from Germany, for a client and the rest is history. "Regular" shoe stores would not sell the shoes, so Fraser tried Health Food stores, where they were a hit.

1973 - The "Arizona," Birkenstock's best seller of all time, was introduced.

1979 -  The "Boston,"  voted "Hottest Shoe of the Year" in 2022/2023.

1986 - Nordstrom's is the first department store to carry Birks.

2023 - The Birckenstock company is valued at 8.96 billion dollars.
